Training Session format is based on 1 hour sessions but the economics of learning to drive mean that multi hour sessions are more advantageous in the fact that if you allow 8 minutes each end of a session for lesson objectives and debrief you are left with approximatly 45 minutes of learning time. With a similar time for objectives, debrief on, say a 3 hour session you get 164 minutes of learning time which means you should be learning more quickly therefore taking less time overall.
